Fogo De Chao – Las Vegas – Brazilian Steakhouse

Fogo De Chao has been a favorite of mine for years. I used to go here quite often when I lived in L.A, however this was the first time I tried the one in Las Vegas. For some reason the reviews for the Las Vegas one wasn’t that good. I had to check it out for myself.

For starters, Fogo De Chao in Las Vegas is conveniently located on Flamingo, a few minutes from the strip. Even though we went on a Saturday, we were able to get seated right away without waiting. As soon as you walk in, the inside is beautiful. The slight touches and the large collection of wines is just awesome.

Of course our server was real nice, as you can expect, and we were ready to fill our stomachs! The salad bar was not the best…..but so is the one in L.A, so I won’t give any minus points for this. Ironically enough, out of all the Brazilian Barbecue places I have been to, Fogo De Chao probably has the best meat and worst salad bar. Interesting huh?

But, of course we come here for the meat. The meat is second to none! As soon as I took the first bite of my Sirloin, I knew the quality of the meat here was different from other places. My mouth was thanking me, and I havent even gotten to Top Sirloin (Picanha), or Garlic Beef, or even the bacon wraps!

Again I really wish they had some Salsa, or some better vegetables to accompany my meat. Other Brazilian Steakhouses also serve grilled cinnamon pineapple, which accompanies meat very well. I wonder why Fogo De Chao doesn’t? I had to eat my vegetables, and blueberries.

When you need to slow down, or when you are done with the servers bringing you meat, you can just flip your sign over from green to red so and the servers will stop. Flip it over back to the Green, and the meat will start coming again. You can also ask the servers nicely for particular cuts and types as you desire. You can also get hot sides like mashed potatoes etc.

I don’t know if I came on a good day, or if other people came on a bad day. My experience here was Really good. To me, the meat was even better than the L.A Fogo De Chao.

Fogo De Chao can get a little pricey. Dinner starts at about $60 person. However it is well worth the money. The quality of meat that you get, as much as you want to eat, Very Good!
